Suggest Treatment For Severe Infection In The Blood
My husband is in hospital with severe infection and dry can t figure out how he got it or what it is. They are treating him with strong antibiotics but say they need to figure out exactly what it is and how it got in his blood stream. It all started in his knee. It was fine then suddenly swelled up and intense pain. Couldn t walk etc. Then a few days later his hand swelled up severely. As time went on he became weak, confused, in pain all over his body. They said he may have blood clot or pneumonia but infection caused problems with tests. They have asked him all kinds of questions over and over but can t figure it out. He says his whole body hurts. His white cell count was down and he had a low grade temp when we got him to hospital. He is 55. Normally healthy. We need help. They say he will be in hospital a while then antibiotics for 6-8 weeks
