Suggest Treatment For Severe Injury To The Labia Minora
I cut my libia minora pretty bad the other day. It bled for at least 12 hours. I immediately went to the er to get it checked out because there is a pretty good amount of skin kind of dangling there. Well the doctor said that it has to heal on its own. I had 2 doctors and a nurse look at it and they all agreed...however its day 3 and I m worried that it won t heal and look normal again. Should I be concerned?
If doctors have told after clinical examination then it should be healing on its own. It can get swollen for some days and then will for healing tissue.
Since it is on the outermost parts of the genital system, it is unlikely to cause any internal problems. Please keep the area clean and dry to help in healing well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Vivek Chail, Radiologist
