Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching All Over The Body

Hi I am having itching all over my body could it be caused from Mirapex ?which I take for restless leg syndrome . it just started 2 days ago . but I also took a naproxen then . ive been on Mirapex for 4 or 5 years and no itching .could I possibly be lacking in minerals or vitamins. .I m 65.

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Having itching all over your body is suggestive of possible allergic reaction.

If itching started 2 days ago, and you took naproxen that day, then, could be an allergy reaction to naproxen (if you just started to use it or used for first time).

You mention to have started using Mirapex 5 years ago with no itching, so what you are experiencing now is not due to Mirapex, but to any other med or thing you started to consume (e.g. naproxen you mention).

Lack of vitamins or minerals is not associated with itching suddenly set.

Take Benadryl or any other anti-histaminic medication you find over the counter to ease itchiness. Stop using naproxen. If still itchiness, then, stop using Mirapex for a couple of days. If still itching, consult with your doctor for further evaluation.
