Suggest Treatment For Severe Joint Pain, Chills And Headache

Hi Dr, yesterday I started to feel achy in my joints and a bad constant headache went to my dr this morning and at my insistence they checked for Lyme. I have the chills and a temp of 101 I know my Dr does not think its Lyme I am taking Advil not sure what else I should do.

I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , examine physically and take history to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir along with anti pyretic and anaglesics . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist if there will be mumps or any other condition related to upper respiratory track infection .
