Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain Post Injury
I had an arthroscopic knee surgery in January 2015. I was carrying a few food trays down the steps and I made a turn at the last step and bumped my knee into the rail. I heard a pop in my left knee and excruciating pain in left knee. The MRI revealed a tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus. How can I have a tear again as I had surgery for the same 18 months ago.

Hello,
Yes, there may be a tear in meniscus even if it was repaired earlier. There is nothing doubtful about it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
