Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain Post Injury

I hurt my knee in volleyball about 3 months ago while diving for a ball and I landed directly on my knee. Since then I ve had a lot of knee pain. At first, my right knee was slightly swollen. The swelling gradually got better, but the pain didn t!! It would hurt to do a sit-up, it would hurt to lift up just my right leg when laying down, and it would hurt to stretch. But now I have pain in both my right knee and right hip. My pain in my knee isn t as bad, I just can t jog, or sometimes have trouble walking. But I can do sit-ups, and stretch it now! Now that my right knee and right hip has been hurting for a month, the pain passed on to my left knee. It s very hard to jog!!! I have lateral knee pain, and anterior hip pain.

hello,
I could also be ligament strain or ligament rupture. You ll need x ray and mostly mri of knee. You need to see orthopedician early.
Till the time, you can otc diclofenac spray or gel, otc medicine like paracetamol or ibuprofen or diclofenac with antacid. Also, calcium and vitamin D supplements. Also, you need to give rest and avoid heavy activities till evaluation is complete.
