Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain

I have pain on the interior side of my left knee, sort of right to the side of the kneecap. It hurts a bit during activity, however, it really hurts when I am in bed! If I turn onto my left side, it really starts to hurt, almost as if something is shifting in the knee. The pain increases when I bend the knee. Any ideas? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello
I read your question and understand your concern
I would like to ask that
* your age & gender
* any h/o trauma ?

* any swealling and warmth in your affected knee joint?* your weight I mean are you obese?
* your profession I mean what your work is?
* any other disease you are having/any other joint ever hurts?
I would suggest to do your s.uric acid,RA factor, ANA factor,CRP,CBC
and your s.calcium and vit D level and also one x-ray knee joint AP/LAT
and you can take anti inflammatory and analgesics ,also you can take steroid injection for time being ,also topical analgesics anti inflammatory and also go to orthopaedic/rheumatologist to have check with them
I hope my answer will satisfy you
good luck & tc
