Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain
I have this pain in my right knee which seems to be getting worse. It also seems like there is pain going down the leg...sometimes I am not sure exactly where the pain originates. When I am driving there is sometimes terrible pain in my knee/leg/foot?

Pain in a joint may be related to the bones in the area, the ligaments or other soft tissues in the area.
Pain from one joint can travel to affect other aspects of the limb, this is the reason that you may also experience pain down the leg and into the foot.
An xray of the knee would be needed to determine if there is a bony cause.
If there is no bony cause, then your doctor may want to determine if any of the ligaments are involved.
This would not be shown on x ray however.
