Suggest Treatment For Severe Leg Cramps And Disturbed Sleep With Hot Flashes

I have a bad reaction to a lot of drugs, and I do not like the side effects of Evista--the most common side effects: are leg cramps, sleeping problems, dry skin, hot flashes, flu like symptoms, joint/bone pain and sweating. I already have leg cramps, sleeping problems, dry skin and joint/bone pain--so why should I consider this drug? My doctor is asking me to take it. I rejected Tamoxifen because of the side effects. I took it for one month before the side effects got me. I am having a bone scan this week, and I want to see how much difference there is from my last one, two years ago. I had two Lumpectomies five years ago, and was on Radiation for 37 treatments, not sure I needed that--but---- DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS FOR ME? THANK YOU.

Hello,

We have to rule out possible causes like neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease.

As of now you can take drugs like tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a general physician and plan for a Doppler study.
