Hi welcome to health care magic...

Does your son having history of trauma??

Here your son leg pain evaluated through x ray which was normal, so organic cause less likely..

CBC report along with HB estimation and PS examination also should be done....

If anemia present than treated accordingly with iron or multivitamin tablets according to cause..... As anemia also can lead pain...

If needed to rule out hemoglobinopathy than hb electrophoresis done...

The area is warm so your doctor might right as inflammation to that area can lead warmth...

Take care

Physician or orthopedic surgeon consultation advisable for examination and further work up
