Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have severe low back pain. My PcP has tested me for various diseases, all negative. But he diagnosed me with fybromyalgia....I cannot hold my stomach in and move/excercise without causing severe pain from a hemmoroids. Could this hemorrhoid be the reason for my low back/hip pain ? I dont think that hemorrhoids can cause low back pain. Low back pain is usually due to disc prolapse. An MRI scan of lower back will help to find out the cause. Fibromyalgia can cause pain at multiple body sites. I would advice you to visit a physiotherapist for exercises to help you in back pain. Do hot compresses regularly. Keep your posture correct. Take pain kilker like tylenol when needed.
Hope this helps. Thanks
