Suggest Treatment For Severe Lower Back And Testicle Pain

Hi I am suffering from pain in my right testicle (i have an ultrasound tomorrow). however i have no signs of infection (antibiotics have not had an effect) but i am urinating far more often the normal, but a lot of fluid, not needing it without actually weeing much. I have always gone to the toilet more often than most but now i go probably 6 times before 12pm having drunk quite a lot of fluid (2/3 cups of coffee and several glasses of water). The increase is very noticeable. I also have very bad posture as i sit at a desk for at least 6 hours a day and have lower back pain. i am getting the odd twinge in the flanks and occasional discomfort in my lower abdomen and areas below my stomach. Any ideas / could it be all linked? There is absolutely no change to my testicle, no swelling, no lump no change to my scrotum, some discomfort on ejaculation but not pain per se.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

We have to rule out possible causes like a prolapsed disc and nerve compression.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
