low back pain with radiation to legs and legs muscle spasm suggest acute spinal disc disease. in initial stages conservative treatment is all which is required. take proper rest ,analgesic such as ibuprofen ,muscle relaxants (i.e. thiocolchiside) and hot fomentation to back. pain will subside in 5-7 days ,then start spinal muscle strengthening exercises for which you will need a rehab specialist, physical therapist .
Hope this helps.
