Suggest Treatment For Severe Lower Back Pain

I have been having severe low back pain with spasms so painful I can't move until they let up. Kidney stones have been elimated as a cause. The spasms literally wrap around my entire right side from the spine around to the abdomen. Constipation is not an issue.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe lower back pain which is usually nerve compression, there can be related spondylitis. It could be due to prolonged sitting hours and due to poor posture. Need not to worry.

I will suggest you to visit orthopaedician once and get it examined completely. You should get MRI spine as nerve compression cannot be seen on x ray so you may need MRI for this. Till that time avoid lifting heavy weights. You should sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist as well and start treatment accordingly. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and therapeutic exercises will give faster relief.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
