Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have extremely lower back pains. A while ago, I was told that the pain was due to arthritis. Over the years the pain has gotten progressively worst. When trying to do anything that requires standing, I have to sit for a while before I am finished. Also, my energy level is nil. Could the back pain cause this lack oh energy?
Hello thank you for writing us here. Most probable diagnosis which could be made is ankylosing lumbar spondilitis. You should get a check up with some good orthopedic doctor. They would take your radiographs and then put you on medications. Arthritis is just a symptom not the diagnosis. You must go for a check up. God bless you
Best regards, Dr Gunjan
