Suggest Treatment For Severe Nausea And Vomiting

I am having severe nausea and vomiting has just started. This has been going on a while with loss of appetite due to spinal fusion/pain. I did get my appetite back but now feel extremely sick again. I had a bad pain in left abdomen for about 5 days and it went away, but nausea has just gotten worse. Dr says I am anemic, but not low iron and my rc and hemoglobin and hemocrit are low also. Could this be related? This was for a physical, unrelated. will the low rc affect my fusion and healing?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to chronic gastritis.

For that, you can take tablet ondansetron, syp mucaine gel. Tablet pantoprazole will help to reduce acidity.

Avoid hot and spicy foods. Take light meals.

In case of not getting relief, you may require upper GI endoscopy after consultation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
