Suggest Treatment For Severe Nausea And Vomiting

My 17 yr old just had procedure today. Never had any anesthesia or pain meds. Currently getting dosed with dilaudid for pain management, but causes nausea and vomiting. Pushing reglan to help alleviate symptoms. Is this common post op with this procedure?
