Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Bump On Lower Spine After Diving

i was jumping off an 80 ft cliff into water at a popular hiking spot. When i landed in the water i landed part on my back and butt. Immediately after i was in a great deal of pain and could hardly breathe and now a little off to the side of my spine it looks like one of the balls in my spine is off center and swollen a little bit... this only happened a couple hours ago but if i do anything AT ALL other than laying down w ice packs im hurting a lot...do i need to go see a doctor right away or will it just heal by myself.ONCE AGAIN THIS ONLY HAPPENED A COUPLE HOURS AGO!

Welcome to healthcaremagic. I would advise you to go have your back examined by a physician. You describe a change in anatomy and that concerns me. The back pain and neurological deficits could occur later on. Good luck.
