Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Despite Taking Effexor
Yes...Effexor X-ray 150 msg was prescribed to me from my pain management doctor. Started at 37.5 then 75 msg now 150 msg 1 x a day. It takes the edge off my severe chronic pain but not a lot of relief. Will the Dr. Want to still increase this dose? I see him for my monthly visit in 3 days and am not so sure what to do?

It doesn't work on pain. Amitryptiline or Cymbalta are antidepressants that work on pain. Otherwise, I can do general information but without knowing a particular pain, there is a limit on recommendations.
