Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Ankles Post Surgery
I had ankle surgery, broke my tibila & fib bones on 11-11-15 and 2 spots on my incision won t close up and it bleeds and hurts very bad. I still can t walk on it and can t wear a booth either. I m having alot of pain from it. What will need to be done? I also have plates & screws in my ankle. My bones are healed.
It could be an inflammatory pain. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an X-ray to rule out malunion or nonunion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
