General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Your problem seems to be due to spondylitis in lumber region. There is pressure or linking of the nerve supplying the affected part.due to deranged vertebra or inter-vertebral disc. MRI would clear the exact point of cause followed by specific treatment (medicines, local steroid injection, physiotherapy or surgery in some cases.). Please consult an orthopedic surgeon.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
