Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Right Hip After Getting Flu Shot

I am experiencing moderate to severe pain in the right hip whenever I walk or stand for an extended period. Pain started soon after getting the flu shot. Started in the arm given the injection, moved to the other shoulder, then down to my right hip. The pain in the arms subsided.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

This could be due to some vascular reaction being experienced due to the flu shot, although uncommon. I would although suggest you report to your doctor whenever you can as some individuals do experience more serious neurogenic conditions like Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

Best wishes.
