Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Right Knee After Partial Hip Surgery
I am recovering from a partial hip surgery. I broke my hip. How long until I can resume normal activities. It was an injury from my yellow lab, Prez. Reagan. I have had the one issue that has me in a catch 22 situation. When I awoke from surgery, my right knee was in severe pain in the recovery room and has hurt ever since. Just had the mri, along with the bone density scan while I was a the clinic. Waiting for the mri on the knee. I did walk 180 steps the second day at the hospital, my knee is holding me back from my goal to go foward and put forth 100% in therapy.
* As per my clinical experience, the severe knee pain after partial hip replacement surgery may be related to underlying nerve compression or some sort of ligament stretch during surgical positioning.
* In my clinic, I do recommend detailed sensory, motor examination with reflexes of knee, ankle are vital to be corelated on clinical grounds.
Once your MRI knee reports are available , kindly share with me during follow up chat.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
