Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Spine Caused Due To Pinched Nerve

I have had a pinched nerve in my lower spine for several months and have had pain night and day for all that time. It is about to drive my crazy. What can I do to make this pain go away. The doctors want to continue giving me pain pills which don t even touch my pain and I do not like to stay on them. Can you suggest exercises or something to help take the pain away. I am having to use a walker and a cane and cannot sleep in bed because I cannot find a position to make my leg stop hurting. I sleep sitting in my recliner chair. Sleep really well but don t know if sitting all night will keep my back from healing up.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you did not get the MRI then it is better to get it done underlying cause is most important this could be surgical condition you need to have the opinion from neurosurgeon, else taking analgesic is not good for health, hope this information helps, take care and have nice day.
