Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Ankle And Knee
I get pain in between my ankle and knee at night when I try to sleep and can not sleep cause of thru pain I put Ice on it and it helps some. I know my mother has problems with her legs and she sis I could have it to but she can not tell me the name for it. She does takes meds for this
Hello, Thank you for asking at HCM. I carefully read your question and understand your concern. If you are having pain at the shin and you are a teen this might be due to growth spur and is normal, not a dangerous thing and goes away itself. You can have some tylenol to help with the pain and soft local massage. Advil might be a great help also with pain but take it after food so you do not hurt your stomach. If you have had any trauma or you think you might have hurt the leg an xray might help to rule out fractures or bone structure problems. If no control of pain with tylenol or advil than you need to see a doctor to have an xray done and if xray is normal than you might need further investigations like blood tests to rule out immune causes of the joint and bone pain.
