Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Arm And Elbow Region

I am experiencing pain in my left arm. It comes and goes and moves from the elbow to the bicep to the shoulder muscle. Otherwise I feel fine. I think it may be caused by poor position when working on my computer at work or maybe from sleeping with it under my body. I just want to make sure it is not something else like a sign of heart trouble. Do you have any comments?

hi,

thank you for providing the brief history of you.

A thorough neuromuscular assessment is advised.

As you mentioned, you have pain in the left arm, what is the nature of the pain, if the pain is radiating in nature it will be a nerve origin pain. As you mentioned, when you are working on a computer you have a poor posture. Yes this is a common problem, Due to workstation issues, there might be such pain and it is called "Repetitive stress injury". This pain of your as per my understanding is related to the neck posture. Correction of the neck posture and strengthening the muscles of the neck and upper limb will help to relieve the pain.

Usually, Repetitive stress injury cases i have seen so far get corrected my posture correction and some general exercises with 99% success rate.

I wish you the same
