Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have severe pain in the left side of my left foot, along the bone. I have had the pain since going bowling 3 days ago. I experienced the pain once before, last summer, while I was driving. That was following an evening of water aerobics. I have tried ice and heat. It doesn t seem to relieve the pain. My foot feels better when I walk on it than when I m sitting or lying down. It is slightly tender to the touch at the bony spot that extends outward approx. half way down the side of the foot. What can you tell me. I don t think it is broken.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM It may just be a strain or stress since the pain started while you were bowling.I will suggest you try the following: -Rest well -Take a pain drug like aceclofenac -A local pain gel like voltarene -Continue with ice/heat -If pain intense, you may add a pain drug like tramadol. Hope this will help Best regards
