Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Hip And Legs

Hi there, recently I have been suffering with pain in my hip and down in my leg, I have tingles in my feet and my leg goes dead at times, I have fell twice at the University I attend. I m too embarrassed to go to Doctors, but I can t sleep at night cause I m in pain. Can you suggest anything? Mechelle

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The history of pain in the hip and the leg along with tingling and history of leg going dead at times. There is history of falling at University.
What is there to be embarrassed about such a problem. You need to go to a Doctor, get a clinical examination done and an MRI of the lower spine to see the cause of the compression on the spinal cord to find out the culprit and get it treated.
Till then avoid anything including weight lifting or so.
Take Ibuprofen round the clock as an anti-inflammatory medicines
