Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Knee
My left knee has been hurting popping and locking up sometimes. I ve had an x-ray done on it and the results from that states I have a tear in the patella. My dr wrote me an prescription for a knee brace. My insurance doesn t cover it so I ve been using an ace wrap. These past few days the pain and popping is getting worse. What should I do?

Hello,
It may be due to ligament injury.
For further assessment you may require MRI knee after orthopedician consultation.
For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.
Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.
Till then use knee cap.
Avoid step up and down.
