Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Left Ear

I recently about a month ago cleaned my ears with peroxide an a q-tip, the next few days , I had 8 to 10 level pain in the left ear, none in the right, the left became sore and swollen, linking the infection into the brain, the excursion tube to the left tonsil, then last weekend, it lead into the right ear drum, went to urgent care, the Dr ordered x-rays, said that the left ear was black, the right ear that in pain was cloudy, and that my right lung had a black spot which was broncitis, so what does a black ear drum , is that infection?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be a sign of otitis( middle ear infection). Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. A detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause. Antibiotics have to be started at the earliest. An otoscopic examination is required to rule out eardrum perforation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
