Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Left Leg

I had spinal surgery i year ago. It was extensive and relieved sharp pasins in lower back and left leg. Just recently severe pain developred in my lower baright side. It is acute when I sit down and then goes away. It may be a pulled musle or ner problem. Also when I walk after 50 feet or so my legs go wobbly and both legs tingle. After tingle I can walk. Does this sound like stenosis in my very lower spine?

Hello,

Both stenoses in the spine or blocked arteries of the legs may cause leg pain with walking.

I would recommend you to have an ultrasound examination of the legs to evaluate the blood flow there. Sometimes, if the information provided with an ultrasound examination is not sufficient, the doctor may ask for other more invasive tests.

If the arteries of the legs come out normal in examinations then very likely spinal stenoses is the cause of your symptoms and in this case, the doctor will order an MRI of the spine.
