Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Ribs
I have what feels like a strained rib in the upper portion of my back on the left side. I have a daughter with cerebral palsy that I lift. I thought maybe I had hurt it that way. But to day on my left side just below my arm pit I have some edema. My left chest is swollen as well. Any ideas?

* As there is edema over the arm pit with chest, this does not sound to be mere strain of muscle or ligament.
* There can be underlying cellulitis from the various causative organisms as infection from bacteria or else.
* Immediate attention to your PCP is recommended without delay.
