Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Shoulder Blades
I have an extreme pain in my shoulder blade, to the top of my arm, and it is so painful just to roll over at times. I also have been getting this heavy feeling in both arms that feel like there is no picking them up. They are so heavy. I seem to get a little confused when my arms start this and I usually try to sit down for a few. I can just be going up to the scanner to scan something and it will hit, or I can be just sitting down and it will hit. I don t know what is causing this
The commonest causes I can think about are as follows: Local myalgia affecting a group of muscles which usually spread to the nearing area due to body's typical protective phenomenon. Cervical or upper thoracic spine problems causing the nerve pinching or so. Post-viral infection the myalgia can continue. Hence I would advise you the following: Consult your Doctor first for clinical evaluation, examination and relevant investigations so that a proper diagnosis as to the cause can be diagnosed and specifically treated. X-ray of chest and back. MRI of cervical and upper thoracic spine. Take a reference for Specialist's opinion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
