Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Shoulders
Hello. I am a 46 yr. old woman. About 30 minutes ago I was gettting out of the car and had severe pain along the top of my left shoulder and the side of my neck. It hurts to move my arm and the pain is pretty intense. This came out of nowhere. I did ride in a motion simulator earlier today, don t know if there is a connection to that or not.
As the symptoms of shoulder associated with neck sound more of nerve entrapment. But need an MRI assistance and also more detailed history like radiating pain, tingling, numbness etc. For now, you can use hot water fermentation and a cervical collar. Do gentle massage over the trapezius muscle. Doing static neck exercises and shoulder stability exercise should help reduce pain and improve muscle function.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
