Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Throat

Hi in 2 weeks I had mucus and it felt like it was blocked in My throut I used ACC200 now it's better but it comes out in the morning sometimes during the day . yesterday I felt a weird pain I'm my that theache when I swallow it's not that painfull but to take out air with my mouth it was the worst pain in my life pls help Doc

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have severe pain in the throat . Well there can be many reason for symptoms you mention in query like sore throat ( strep throat or viral infection ) , pharyngitis , acid reflux or muscle relaxant . The mucus you mention in query can occur due to conditions like post nasal drip or acid reflux . I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and consult ENT specialist for proper examination of the condition . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and blood test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) along with decongestant and expectorant . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist if he/she find problem to be related with acid reflux . Fow now eat light meals and avoid spicy and acidic food .
