Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Upper Left Abdominal Quadrant

Hi my name is Kathleen. Have had horrible pain in upper left quad for 8 years . Unable to work for last 5 years. Have had every scan possible , endoscopy , colonoscopy , lidocaine injections , lyrica , baclofen , chiropractor , and laser. No luck with pain relief . Also have terrible muscle spasms in costal area.they get so bad that I can t move . Feels like there is a belt wrapped around my ribs and chest (up high) and it s being pulled tighter and tighter. Chiropractor says it is diaphragm and pain doctor says its intercostal neuralgia , yet either of them are able to provide any relief. Any ideas ?

Hi,

It can be hyper-acidity with bloated abdomen causing muscle pull. Get stress test done to exclude cardiac ischemia which can cause pain with pressure on chest. I just suggested to add to the possible causes that nothing should escape our sight. Please get the thing done to help in diagnosis and specific management.
