My wife has severe pain on the outside of her left leg from the knee down to her foot. She does not know what she did to cause it. We put on 2 lidocaine patches 5% on it but it still is very painful. Around a 9-10. Can she take Tylenol with the patches?

Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain On The Left Leg
Hello, As per your history, it may be due to muscle sprain. For that you can take tablet acetaminophen. Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally. Heating pads will also help. In case of not getting relief you may require MRI back, nerve conduction studies after orthopedician consultation. Take proper rest and balanced diet. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
