Suggest Treatment For Severe Palpitations And Burning Sensation In Chest

I am 47, Male. Im 5,7 173 lbs. I have a pacemaker. For 2 weeks now i have been having sudden pains in the chest. It feels like my heart is racing, like i just ran for 5 minutes. My heart rate jumps up to 115-125 just from walking or climbing stairs (I wear a Fit Bit). It feels like a burning in my chest. Like you run in the winter and the air is to cold. I had my pacemaker checked 2 days ago and it is working fine. ??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you will need to do a more thorough check of your heart to make sure you are not developing ischemic heart disease. You will need and ECG and a heart ultrasound and probably stress test.
According to the results, the doctors will decide on further steps.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
