Dear , This is Dr. S.Tomar from Healthcaremagic.com's medical team and I will be your medical advisor for this question. Thank you for sharing your concern with us and showing trust on us. Severe Pancolitis is treated with anti-inflammatory and corticosteroids and right now both of the medicines are prescribed to him by your healthcare providers . Immunomodulators should be started in severe cases who shows less improvement with antiinflammatory and corticosteroid therapy . So there are lots of medicines available to treat this condition successfully and I would recommend you to consult a specialist gastroenterologist who can use the medicines in step up manner to treat the condition .
I wish you good health. This is my initial response and feel free to contact if you need any further clarification . Thank you for your question and feel free to contact us further for any query or follow up. sincerely, DR.S.TOMAR
