Suggest Treatment For Severe Persistent Body Pain While On Dolo 650

I am having fever and body ache for the last 36 hours. My doctor asked me take Dolo 650 every 6 hours which I am taking. My temperature is 102 F. It comes down but rises again. I am seeking your advice weather I should switch to Crocin Advance or Combiflam or wait for 24 hours for DOLO 650 to show its results. Thank you. Usha

Persistence of fever while on dolo 650 will suggest you need an etiologic management.The other alternatives for fever and pain may not still help.These drugs may only help to manage symptoms and if cause is not handled, fever may persist.I will suggest you see the Doctor for evaluation.Treatment will depend on cause.Possible causes may include bacteria infections, parasitic infections like malaria, viral infections and so on.You will need tests like a malaria test, blood culture, full blood count, urinalysis and others depending on the Doctor's diagnostic orientation.
