Suggest Treatment For Severe Psoriatic Arthritis Pain In Elbow Disturbing Sleep
It s 1:08 am and my psoriatic arthritis pain in an elbow is interfering with sleep, but my Naproxin bottle says take with food; I have acid reflux so should not be eating then lie down; what to do? Should I start taking Naproxen with dinner tomorrow. I have not been taking it because I don t think of it till I hurt but then it can be too late to eat.
I do not think that once a while taking Naproxen, even empty stomach should pose any problem. Still, if you are taking it regularly, then it is always better to take it with food. It is advisable to take it plenty of water and not lying for 10 minutes at least. it is a good idea to start it with dinner, if planning to take it regularly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
