Suggest Treatment For Severe Rashes On Body And Irritable Bowel Movement
My kid is 1.5 years old....she s having severe rashes in her body as well as severe ibm it shows 164 as per the report doctor as prescribed omnacortil for 3weeks and zycol for 2weeks as well as Atarax shall I give all the medicines together ... My cousin told me these medicines are having steroids shall I give I m worried to give these many medicines
Okay. Yes, so try to avoid giving the medicines together. You can give Omnacortil (steroid) for a short period of time but always taper the dose, do not stop it suddenly. So if you're taking it twice for 3 weeks, wean it off to once for the next week and then stop it the week after that.
Atarax you should prefer giving it before bed as it creates a little drowsy effect and the child may fall sleepy in day if given during daytime. Consult a pediatrician.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
