Suggest Treatment For Severe Sharp Left Sided Hip Pain

I have a sharp pain that comes and goes on my left side. It is by the hip/groin/butt bone area I can t resally describe where it is at well but it is where I sit. It just is a sharp pain lasts a few seconds then goes away. Just started about 2 hours ago and comes and goes. Could this just be a muscle strain or Sciatic nerve pain? I have been having my leg go numb like fall asleep a few times when sitting tonight but I sit for work.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to muscular spasm and it may not be sciatica unless it is being tested for the same, till then it can be managed with Tab Chlorzoxazone with Diclofenac once in day, try to have some rest hope this information helps.
