Suggest Treatment For Severe Skin Infection In The Groin Area
Hi, I am 28 years old male. I had severe skin infection at groin region at 18 and once it got cured the skin got hyper pigmented. It remained the same all these years. Is there any way to cure it ? I am extremely concerned how my partner may take as I am going to get married in few months.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe skin infection in the groin area which could be due to blockage of pores of skin with dead bacteria and dust. I would suggest you to give daily application of Glycolic acid 6 percent and retino a cream vera your skin. Apply cotton dipped in tea tree oil and apply them on scars. Don't use ant cosmetics and hard substances on face. You should exfoliate your face once a week and apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream. Take diet rich in vitamin E. Drink plenty of water. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and go for micro-peeling and dermabrasion. You can apply aloe vera gel on them as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
