Suggest Treatment For Severe Skin Reaction To Hair Dye
My wife frequently reacts to having her hair coloured. A dermatologist told her to avoid black and brown colours. She had her hair coloured Saturday and is having a reaction. Blisters on the neck, scalp and ears. The tissue on her forehead and around her ears is swelling. There is a blizzard here today, so the family doctor is not available. She is taking citrizine hydrochloride 10mg once per day. She is also taking diphenylhydramine hydrochloride at less than the max dose due to the drowsiness. She is using a topical antibiotic on the broken blisters to prevent infection. Is there anything else that she can do other than increase the diphenylhyrdamine?

I really appreciate your concern, she is taking right medicines but the dose of citirizine should be three times in day and it is better to have Levocetirizine 10 mg instead, else no need to worry about this, rest of the medicines can be continued hope this information helps.
