Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat And A Painful Lump In The Roof Of The Mouth
hi , I was recently diagnosed with connective tissue disease. I have been told I have Ra and Sjogren syndrome also . I have been getting severe sore throats that are painful and now have a lump in the roof of my mouth that is painful . is this possible related to the Sjogren? my joints are achy with all this. I am on anti inflammatory and plaquil
Since Sjogren's is associated with dry mouth, it is very likely that you develop frequent oral complaints. You please continue anti inflammatory drugs as and when required. But please keep yourself hydrated well. If possible please keep chewing gums and chocolates so as to enhance the secretions of saliva.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
