Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat And Sinusitis

Hello, I went to the doctor yesterday as I have sore throat and sinus and feeling tired and the doctor gave 4 medicine. 1. Tussidex Forte Linctus (syrup for cough) 2. Viocil Lozenges (for sore throat) 3. Telfast D 60mg (for runny/blocked nose) 4. Leftose (Lysozyme 30mg) (anti-inflammation) Then since yesterday, I can t get an erection. Is that related to the medicine I m taking by any chance? Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Neither of the mentioned medications are responsible for the erectile dysfunction, though general debility or weakness from the underlying bacterial infection can count for the same.

* Addition of gargles with salted lukewarm water and maintenance of hydration with plenty of liquids are recommended here for further care of the issue precisely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
