Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat, Sinus Infection, Chills And Dry Cough

A month ago I was in California. I returned home and within days developed a severe sore throat and sinus infection. I had the chills, coughing and aches. I recovered from all of that but I have had a dry cough and head congestion ever since. I ve never had allergies, but I have been unable to shake this cough and head congestion. Any suggestions?

Persistent dry cough indicates increased mucous production. Throat irritation may be due regurgitation of stomach contents.
Advice

2.     Azithromycin 500 mg per oral for 5 days
3.     Ranitidine 150 mg twice daily per oral for 15 days
4.     Ambroxol 30 mg daily per oral for 10 days
5.     Do gargle with slight warm salt water four times daily. You can also betadine liquid mouth wash for this purpose
