Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain

Ive had massive stomach pains the last four days after a heavy night of drinking. I can t eat anything without more pain or feeling nauseous. I ve been trying to stick with yogurt and water. I have a fever and Im wondering is it okay for me to take anything for it like brufen, acetaminophen or aspirin? I m not sure which one is the safest for my stomach right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The safest would be acetaminophen if your stomach is inflamed or irritated as in gastritis.

Both ibuprofen and aspirin can irritate the stomach.

If you have a history of repeated excess use of alcohol however, it would be best to be assessed by your doctor to rule out liver disease.
Acetaminophen can potentially affect the liver.

I hope this helps
