Suggest Treatment For Severe Swelling In The Thigh

What can be done to stop thigh edema that swells as big as a basketball on one leg just above the knee!! Surgery? It has been that way for 3 years even using leg pressure sleeves with air pressure!! Female, nurse, over weight but recently lost 100 pounds???

may be related to knee replacement surgery causing venous obstruction can consult the surgeon physiotherapy is recomanded raise the leg with pillow at bedtime. if it is there for three years then exclude varicose vein and consult surgeon for surgical corection consult dietician and gym expert for advise. have to reduce weight tet locally examined by surgeon to operate if veicosevein
